I've been to some great shows over the years dating back to the early '70's. I saw Steve Goodman join Arlo on stage at the Quiet Knight in Chicago. I saw him share the stage with Hoyt Axton and Joan Baez, and so many times with Pete Seeger. The last show I went to was at the Pony Express in Phoenix,Az. in the mid '80s. It's been a while. I recently rented/saw Alice for the 1st time which reawakened in me the fun of arlo's music.
I decided that a journey to the Guthrie Center was just the ticket. I'm taking my youngest(teenager)to what she is calling hippie fest.
I've fallen in love with the "Moon Song" and wanted to request it because I haven't seen it on any set lists, but I also wanted to hear so many others I made up a fantasy set list for October 6, 2002.

the weather was beautiful... the berkshires were picturesque... the church was so coool...the set list was so strong ("live from the guthrie center"?)... the "moon song" - sweet ... the experience unforgettable... my daughter, emily, told her mom, " arlo guthrie was good, but sarah and johnny were way better"....
