beautiful little old-fashioned theater
with padded pew-like seats
Arlo told a nice story
about his visit to Hoyt Axton's home in Montana during some of Hoyt's final days
and how they stayed up till the wee hours
playing music and just plain having fun

it wasn't " Living in the Country "
not the one from " Running Down the Road " anyway
it was vaguely reminiscent of the guitar part
from Arlo's " Last Train "
if anyone out there was at Westport
and recognized that instrumental piece...

ok i've come to find out
it was " Haleiwa Blues "
as identified at Fairfield, CT 11/9/02
i went back and compared the recordings and sure enough...
Arlo said " We've never actually even done this... "
so Westport might be the first one but you never know...
Arlo says lots of stuff
i tend to believe him on this one
