Arlo has played several concerts in Washington and Oregon in the past week and a half, where are all the Arlo fans with comments and reviews of these shows? I will be in Row A(front row) for Saturdays concert in Seattle at the Paramount and will file a review here for other fans to read. Let's hear from you folks going to these shows.

My husband and I saw the Arlo Guthrie show at the Mount Baker Theater in Bellingham on January 21st. It was absolutely incredible! Sarah Lee and her husband, Johnny opened up the show with 4 songs. Then Arlo and his son, Abe and I am sorry I don't remember the other man's name came out and played for about an hour. They took about a 20 minute break and then came back and played for another hour and a half. The show started at 7:30 and ended at 11:00. The sound system was awesome as well all of the members of the band both in their talents in playing musical instruments and singing voices. Arlo was in great form singing many new and old songs and some great story-telling as well. My husband and I both agree that it is one of the best concerts we have ever been to and we are in our mid-50's. I encourage anyone out there to go see this tour. The Paramount would be a great place to see this concert....but the Mount Baker Theater is beautiful as well. Have fun and enjoy! It is well worth every penny and more.

We saw Arlo in Portland last night. It was wonderful. There is no way to do it justice with words. Sarah Lee and her husband harmonize in a way that will bring tears to your eyes. Abe was the backbone of the rhythm with his keyboard. I don't know the other guys name either, but his steel guitar, mandolin, dobro, and acoustic guitar were the perfect topping. Arlo has just gotten better with time. He jumped back and forth between piano and guitar. He is truly a guitar master(a great pianist too). It was the best concert I've ever been to. Beg, borrow, steal, but don't miss this one...you'll be sorry!

The "other guy" sounds like Gordon Titcomb. Anybody out there know for sure?

I went to the Gordon Titcomb website and it said he is currently on tour with Arlo. The same dates were listed for the concerts talked about on this messageboard.....so it must be him. I didn't catch his name when Arlo introduced the members of the band. Our seats were way up in the balcony, but it looked like Gordon by the picture he had on his website.

Arlo's Portland OR concert is still on nonstop replay in my brain! Truly a delight esp. since we have not seen Arlo & the Guthrie kids in our town for 3 years. I love the additional musical support from steel guitar dude and Arlo was superb on grand Piano and guitar. Abe and Sarah Lee glow with inner light. Arlo told some well embellished old stories with a freshness and that truly amazes me. I love his stories and the underlying wisdom built into each. New to me material was great story about Hoyt Axton followed by a duet with Sarah Lee (don't know the name of song,by Hoyt Axton). I've been going to hear Arlo for a couple decades, and This was a superb concert, one of the best!

I don't know if it's the one or not as I wasn't there, but the Hoyt song I've seen Sarah Lee perform (also on her self-titled cd) is called In A Young Girls Mind.
