Was only there on the first two, but I'd say it was a hot show in every sense of the word. Deb might have kept a setlist for the 5th. They weren't all the same though. They were all sold out shows, and then some, but we did miss seeing some of the usual suspects, although it was very nice meeting more unusual suspects, too.

ADG and family put on great shows as always, and we have to look for the church to show up on HGTV on a segment about Great Barrington in a few months. Sherry is not only running the GC beautifully, but she's a story now. And ask Arlo about Carnegie. It's going to be especially special this year.

Wow, we'd love to know when the HGTV special comes on so we can go to my folks to watch it. Anyone know the date? Also does anyone know what is gonna be special about Carangie this yr? Just curious since I can't go this yr...

unfortunatly, i didn't keep a set list this time. i thought about the fact that i probably should about partway through the show, but you can't always do what you're supposed to do. i do know that sarah lee and johnny sang "georgia pine"...because i've been singing it in my head for 2 days now. it was the first song, too...so you'd think the other ones would have knocked it out, but no...there it is.

in any case, as pat said...it was wonderful and hot! we sold so much water i think people were just pouring it over their heads or something. i wanted to do the same! thanks to all the guthries for a great show and thanks to sherry for putting it all together wonderfully! thanks to all the patient concert goers, too...the ones that didn't get upset, but rather laughed at the fact that it sometimes takes 2 blunderites to ring up one cd on the cash register. i guess that's what happens when you share a brain cell.

cheryl...the woman from HGTV said it would be on in about 6 months or so. it's something like the 10 most interesting places in the US, so i guess just keep an eye out for a show that sounds like that. maybe arlo will get a heads up when it gets closer and can let us know.

Three incredible shows... Heard the first two shows from the kitchen... had a ticket for Sunday nite... but like other people, I didn't think to keep a setlist.

Arlo did do a couple of songs that we haven't heard in concert in a while... the first night he did Guabi Guabi... but not the other nites... And the second nite, everyone seemed to really be in a groove... songs just flowed...(even in rehearsal before the show - which is why the doors opened a little late on Saturday!)

All in all, it was a wonderful (but hot) weekend... the good part of that is that now I'm prepared for the heat of Oklahoma next week! WooHoo!!!!

Thanks for the info on the HGTV show. Now if I can find out the goods on the Carnagie Hall show my curiosity will be ended.

Somehow I doubt that your curiosity will ever end!

If Pat and Deb didn't feel they should post it, I won't either... let Arlo tell! But it's WAY COOL!

Hey Arlo can you please tell me since no one else will? Don't make me die of curiosity... LOL! :D Wish this had been announced to all rather than at a gig most folks didn't get to go to LOL! I bet it's either being video tapes or put on a record or shown on tv or either Pete is joning them again, or maybe it's all...

I didn't keep a setlist, either. I thought about it too late, and I missed the beginning of each set, anyway, 'cos I was in the kitchen making sandwiches. But the shows were great! Went Friday and Saturday night, and they were both wonderful. Did anyone besides me notice Arlo's shoes Friday night? They were mocassins, and the right one had a tag on it, one of those leather ones that people usually remove, which said "Genuine Moose". Not "Genuine Moosehide" or "Moose leather", but "Genuine Moose". I couldn't help wondering if Arlo left it on as a statement about himself--Arlo Guthrie, Genuine Moose. After all those years of writing moose poems, he must have a feeling of real empathy for them.
