Now, just 20 min drive NW of me is the town of Woodford (home of the famous Woodford Folk Festival). It's got no traffic lights, a coupla stop signs and if you sneeze then blink you'll be thru it before you even notice!

Now in this town is Sue's restaurant, but Sue's restaurant is not the name of the restaraunt, it's called Jalla's Restaurant.

It's a great place with music on Saturdays and paintings for sale and good food. On the wall of the restaurant is a beautiful piece of art work. It's made from wood and depicts the music of a very familiar tune but they've changed one word from Alice's to Jalla's.

If I'm lucky (and because I don't know how to put photo's up here) our Blundersis Ceashel, (who I emailed the photo to might put it up on her photo site) My camera battery was running out and it's a bit fuzzy because of the light.

It is a flat piece of wood and the notes are seperate pieces of wood which stand out. It's beautiful piece and if someone was looking for a great gift for the Slinger for his birthday and the artist put the original
name that we all know in there, wouldn't it make a swell gift for him???

I can get the number of the artist if anyone is interested

Thanks Sis! :D

There were also fans hangin' down and going (it was hot today, even tho it's Autumn) That's why I had to take it at an angle.

I sure enjoyed my Veggie Burger when I was there! If the Slinger ever gets to Woodford Folk Festival one day the veggie burgers are on me at Jalla's!
