I was all signed up and ready to go to Omega this coming weekend to try yoga for the first time with Arlo!! As luck would have it, I have a family emergency out-of-town and won't be able to attend. I am REALLY disappointed. I heard that he has done these at the Church in MAy .... hope he does one next May. I wonder ... maybe I should email him. Do you think Arlo ever reads email thru Arlonet??

He has been known to check in here once in a while. Also in the alt.music.guthrie newsgroup.

My attitude would be, Arlo is a member of these forums like everybody else. If he didn't want email from members, he could arrange to not receive any email by changing his preferences. If he hasn't done that, I say, email him.

If I didn't know any better and chances are I don't because Joe has been a bad influence on me as Arlo has been a bad influence on him, (it's a vicious cycle) I would venture to guess that an email to Arlo via arlonet is an email to Arlo via Rising Son Records where at that point a lovely secretary(s) at RSR are more than happy to do the majority of email correspondence with Arlo fans and fanatics. An ocassional email may merit a forward to the great and mighty folkslinger for his reply (back to RSR) at his convenience. For the really tough questions, they get forwarded to Abe and the super really tough questions, you guessed it... Sarah Lee. And for those questions of an incomprehensible, inconceivable, infeasible and hopelessly unthinkable nature, one has no choice but to turn to Cheryl in the "Just Ask Cheryl" thread.

Ahhh, yoga.

Well I emailed Arlo thru Arlonet ... is there a better way??? I noticed that on the announcements, he gave an email address for those interested in helping him out next year to be a "roadie". Anyone know who that email address that is??? Do you think I should email him at that address?? I really am disappointed that I can't go. I have also emailed the Guthrie Center requesting a return yoga weekend next May.
