So how does someone get nominated to be a member oif the R&R hall of fame? Is there anything that can be done from this level? Arlo's Woodstock well-viewed performance alone should give him automatic membership.

I was thinking (I know I don’t like that thinking neither much myself but) about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame…Maybe we could get them to build the genuine auxiliary Folksingers wing on to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that could be the place where Woody belongs and stick plaques with Pete and Sonny and Brownie and Huddie and Ramblin’ and Baby Bob maybe a special wing for Texans (they all think they are frickin special anyway, right miss Ceashell) that could include Steve Fromholz and Guy Clark and Townes and Lightnin Sam and Flaco and Freddy Fender and Doug Sahm and Don’t Forget Jerry Jeff and maybe have a Chicago zone for Steve Goodman and John Prine and Jethro Burns and don’t forget Doc and Earl and Lester Flatt, why even old Johnny Cash belongs in there after all and Ralph Stanley and that Cats in the Cradle fellow and that Hard Love Fellow (he writes a good song) maybe David Bromberg (Arlo needs some Bullshitter competition afterall), throw in some Canadians (what the heck) like that Lightfoot fellow or miss Mitchell or Mr Young maybe some English Fellows like John Renborn and Richard Thompson and Irish need some Irish like Christy Moore and/or Planxty and the Dubliners and that old guy used to hang around in Greenwich village long time ago and maybe some fruit loop musicians like Ry Cooder and Tom Waits and maybe some instrumentalist like Clarence White and John Hartford and a little New Orleans like Professor Longhair or Louie Armstrong and then you could have crossover artists Like Baby Bob could become Like a Rolling Stone Bob in the “main” hall and the Amazing Bobby D Bob in the Old Fart Rockers Auxiliary Hall (next to Fat Elvis and (I really didn’t snort my Dads ashes) Scary Keith Richards and maybe
