leadbelly wrote a song like that, bourgeois blues or town or something like that and he wrote it about washington DC (i think that is where he was)
i saw that in that "a vision shared" doco i am pretty sure!

that is correct! I never saw the Vision Shared Doc, I 'll have to watch that sometime! I always liked The Fall's song The Man Whose Head Expanded!
