It may be, Pam.... Here, in Mendocino County while we're only 2 hours north of SF, on hwy 101, specific products don't always stick around, for long. I know of 4 places in Ukiah where I can find Red Stripe, Jamaican beer, but none, with Dad's Old Fashion Root Beer, so brand loyalty tends to be materialistically ethnomethodological.....

Yeah! I'm starting to figure out that staying on topic is not a very expected thing here. (I just joined a few days ago!)

I did a trip years ago, in an old Chevy Van, with Dancing Bears, and "Steal Your faces" (Among other things! LOL!) painted all over it.

I later saw some Dancing Turtles somewhere.

Then on my first night on ArloNet, I played a game of "Hangmoose". And at the end of the game. Some "Dancing Mooses" appeared.

So I ask again.

WHICH CAME FIRST? LOL!

I just thought of something a little bit ironic.

The bears were used on blotter acid produced by Owsley. Owsley's nickname was Bear, the logo is a (registered?) trademark, and it appears in the Bear's Choice cover art. Earlier sightings of the bears suggest that the design may have existed for

then there is the story from South America regarding a Turtle that loves to dance and play the flute. But her exuberance puts her at risk when her music attracts the attention of a hunter who brings her home for turtle stew. After she is caught, her only hope for escape is the hunter's children ... and her own wit.
This folktale, first told by the indigenous people of Brazil, is now told throughout Latin America. The versions are as different as the cultures that contain them, but all of them celebrate Turtle, who carries the world and it's wisdom on her back. Like the people of Latin America, Turtle always seems to survive through courage and wit.

then on to dancing Moose and this poem,

I have been seriously considering making one, to stick on my bumper, that says, "Bumper's sticker", or, maybe just "sticker" on the bumper..
Since I dont use the name "Bumper" in 3-d life, the reaction would be, "well, of courese it is, silly...why not label your exhaust pipe "pipe" too?!"
