And another quote from the Wall Street Journal Opinion page ( http://opinionjournal.com ):

Meanwhile, a Republican operative says the vandalism goes beyond computers. Mullings.com, a Web site run by Rich Galen (former press secretary to Dan Quayle and Newt Gingrich)
claims (seventh bulleted item):

Vice President Dick Cheney's staffers trying to move into the Office of the Vice President space in the Old Executive Office Building right next to the White House
found the offices had been left in complete shambles by the Gore staff on its way out on Friday and Saturday.

Every cord and wire, in many offices--telephone, power, computer and lamp--was slashed. Furniture was tossed, and trash was, literally, everywhere. One person
reported to Mullings that it was his understanding that Mrs. Gore had to phone Mrs. Cheney to apologize.

"All the Gnus that gives people fits"

President Shrub today spoke to the press about pushing through his tax cut.
The president said something to the effect of "There is a warning light flashing on the dashboard of the economy".
One member of the press then asked President Shrub " How appropriate is it for a president to be using idiot lights as a source of information"?

There have been many things on Clinton's

staff, but I don't know about blunderites. An intern or two to be sure, but blunderites?? Who knows?

Ummmm..... I guess so. More a beacon than an idiot light I hope.Unless of course I'm trying to influence or get the attention of George Dubya Shrub, in which case I may set the beacon to it's idiot light setting.

Just what kind of news could a cub have anyway and the only view it ever gets is it's mama's butt, why not make Pat a Bear reporter instead?

You know these Rep. Presidents do look for different ways to information on how to rule, I mean Pres. Nancy ahhh Ronnie that is, had her/his crystal balls and maybe just maybe geo. double U has found his guide here at Arlonet...

I depend on CG&V for all my news now, especially if Deb is busy, so I don't see how I'd do too much good as a reporter. How much does it pay, anyway?

"All the gnus that gives people fits"

President Bush paid a visit to Mexico today, and in an overheard conversation with the new Mexican president, Bush was heard to say" Ok, you guys can export all the Corona beer you want into the U.S., but we don't want you exporting anymore of them wetbacks. And, as a condition of our trade agreement, I want you to score me some real good blow.....or..oh..wait, this is Mexico right? You guys have the weed...it's the Columbians that have the nose candy? Shit. Captain! Fire up Air-Force One and set course for Columbia"!

Dateline California:
Scientists for a major drug company today announced from their secret research facility in the Redwood Forest that they are close to pefecting the formula for "Viagra II". They went on to explain that "Viagra II" has produced a 7 hour orgasm in any of the volunteer test subjects that have lived that long after taking the pill. "So far" explained a spokesman for the group "The only side effect we have discovered is a 100% mortality rate, but the test subjects don't seem to mind".

Former President Bill Clinton's office announced today that he will be making a trip to the Redwood Forest for an undisclosed purpose.

Dear Editor:

Thank you so much for providing this quality publication and reliable home delivery. It's independent voices such as yours that may save the reputation of the press after all. Uh..you're not about to merge with Time-Warner or anything, are you?
