yes, I do understand that passion, Todd, my heart, part, at least, is in Montserrat, In '97, Mother Earth burped there, many of my favorite locales, there, were burried in hot mud, now, only 2.500 Montserratians remain, on-island, out of 16,000, the capitol, Plymouth, is gone, burried & burned, yet, someday, like bamboo shoots pushing thru black sand, Plymouth will be rebuilt! I will return there, long before that, too

In my tadpole days I kept trying to get to Asia, especially to the neighborhood of India (Assam, Kashimir)/Nepal/Bhutan/Tibet. Almost made it -- kind of another Carnegie/Mardi Gras thang, don't y'know. Anyway, everyone I ran into who'd been there, whether in Europe, Mexico, or wherever, kept insisting that once I go, I'm not likely to ever come back. Hmmmmmn. I wonder why. Still trying to get over there to find out, too.
