to trap, snare and enclose, to remove with out harm. I was planning on catching the males and fixing them so they could not reproduce, then releasing them, but then I recalled that they were eating the books not raping them.

I'm not sure how well they actually work, but there are "mouse houses" available. They attract the mice and lock them in and a little light or something lets you know you have occupants to release. This way one is not responsible for taking another life.

Another option is decon, though I know you said you're leary about the poison route. However, in nice little mouse-only areas (places where the dog and cat can't get to) it works superb.

On a side note, my own dog (yellow lab) found a box of it and decided it was quite tasty when he was 4 months old and ate the whole thing. He is fine now, but he did have to have his stomach pumped that night. Not a good night for either one of us.

No new victims today, perhaps the mice have gone under ground, living in caves, preparing sneak attacks, maybe they have learned to bark and they are passing themselves off as dogs, but then again, I have heard a lot of meows lately.

I guess, I will just have to take away a few of the freedoms that the dog and cat have had todate, a few check points between the kitchen and the living room, some id tags to be carried, nothing to much, just enough to ensure our security.

Mouses come walking over the hill
Mouses come walking, they rarely stand still
When mouses come walking they go where they will
When mouses come walking over the hill

Mouses look into your window at night
They look to the left and they look to the right
The mouses are smiling, they think it's a zoo
And that's why the mouses like looking at you

One more terror mouse has met it's doom, this appears to be the start of a long and costly war, so if you don't mind, how about you each take a crisp dollar bill and mail it to me, okay maybe that is unreasonable so if you insist you may send more.

Nathen Sinclaire
defender of the harth
anti-mouse terror war chest
149 Swimming Pool Road.
Hampton, Tenn. 37658

your money is not tax deductable but what the heck, it's for a good cause.

point of fact, 6 traps have been baited and ready since the start of the battle, one trap has caught 4 mice, another 2 and four of the traps have yet to engage the mouse fighters, what do you make of this?

Maybe put all the mousetraps in the locations that are working for you??
Seems like when mouses find a safe route they stick to it. If I were a mouse and happend upon a trap with a corpse in it, I sure would bug out the other way, but maybe the mice don't see it that way.

for a suitable donation, I have several positions available, sec. of state, sec. of war, homeland secutiry, ect. also for a limited time a small donation will get you a night in the Nathen bedroom and for a larger donation, you won't have to spend a night in the Nathen bedroom.

Nathen's arsenal of mouse destruction poses little or no threat to Chairman Mouse Tse Dung and his over billion mouse army. <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/lookout.gif" width=15 height=15>

I need you folks to support mr in my noble quest, by fighting them here, I am keeping them out of your homes and out of your children's beds at night. This battle is yet to be won, it is you folks of the homeland that will decide the outcome, send cash today. Be a proud American, do your part.

Today's kill rate stands at zero....perhaps your dallar could have helped.
