Hey kids. So good to see you're alll still around. I'm ba-a-a-a-a-ck (except I was gone so long that my name has been relegated to the inactive bin, and I don't guess I can get it back. Oh,well.)
Memphis is waaay better for me.
God bless those in the path of Rita. Katrina already moved Bourbon St. up to Beale. Not that I mind having all that extra music around too terribly, but I sure do feel for those who've been displaced against their will. We've got upwards of 20,000 evacuees here already, with more on their way. Whew!

Swalllows ... yeah ... It's got that certain je ne sais quoi - the ever elusive 'right' ring to it. (Or at least, it sounds like more fun than being a lemming -- without in any way denigrating rodents, especially those with a propensity for throwing themselves off cliffs just because "everyone else is dong it".)

I'm for the virtual hootenany, but can't walk anyone through using the chat room. I can't seem to go there myself -- at least, the message was something to the effect of "Permission to access this domain is denied by server." It's probably just as well. Arlo must feel like I'm stalking him, I show up here so often for no particular reason,other than enjoying the company.
