hey... I just noticed how close we are to a major event that may or may not happen...

At the bottom of the main message board menu, you can see how many posts have been made, in how many threads, and how many topics... as I write this, the count is:
Total Forums: 9/Total Topics : 995/Total Posts: 9682

so if we post 317 more posts, in the existing topics and four additional topics, we could have 9 forums, 999 topics and 9999 posts!

Yeh, I know... I have too much time on my hands ... heehee! and whether it happens or not, I think we should all celebrate Blunderday the thirteenth!

Since today is December 13, I would just like to say Happy New Years eve to all my dyslexic friends. Strange but true.

... ok... so I know I was hoping for the impossible... but as I write this, the counts on the main page are:
Total Forums: 9 | Total Topics : 999 | Total Posts: 9696

This is pretty cool in itself!

(Yeh... I know... I'm weird... but what else is new around here?)

Less than big selling holiday gift items this season:

The Trent Lott - Strom Thurmon recording of " I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas".

The Al Gore action figure play set.

The new Alarm Clock from Ron Popeil that has an automatic snooze button that works 30 seconds before the alarm is set to ring.(although I bought one of these for me)

The Cheryl Harrell TV Guide, which only lists programs from 1959-1974.

Strange but true.

Speaking of spreading some holiday cheer:

The C.I.A. has begun a program where they are airlifting and dropping those new talking George W. Bush dolls all over Iraq. The plan being to keep the population of Iraq laughing so hard at the real Bush-isms that the dolls speak, that the U.S. may be able to invade the country undetected.

Strange but true.....maybe.

I am waiting for a presidential press conference one day soon where some member of the press asks George W. Bush a question in such a way as to fluster George and have him reply "What , do you think I'm stupid?!".
I figure the room will either get real quiet or real loud after that one.

Strange but true....maybe.

Reports indicate that some beef from Canada tainted with "Mad Cow" disease made it's way into some dog food. Officals say there is little cause for alarm due to the fact that most of it has been retrieved, and the only creatures to ingest it would have been some dogs and some fixed income senior citizens that have been affected by the fiscal policies of George W. Bush.
Strange, but true.
