I have noticed driving truck that I take special care not to notice many things while driving, like narror spaces where there in cement walls on one side of me and cars on the other, or in heavy traffic, I just maintain a watch on the area that can directly effect me and totally ignore everything else, I think one of the keys to driving is to not see many things as to see what one needs to see, either that or I am just to tired to think of more then a few things at a time and I shut down.
