I saw a TV show, I don't know which one, it was one of those investment shows where they have serious discussions of the market, I don't know which one, but the topic was investment oppurtunities in the wake of Katrina and Rita! I'm Serious. I was thinking of those images of the mayor of New Orleans saying he had to permenantly lay off 3000 people and what a tragedy this is and then on another channel a guy saying if you are one of those lucky enough to have a little spare cash laying around, Katrina is a solid investment oppurtunity.

Well, it's only offensive if you take yourself and your belief system (if it happens to be one of those satirized) way too seriously. The types who blow things and people up and/or start wars after they start getting messages from "god" or Haliburton. And if somebody does find it offensive, it's equally offensive to all the biggie religions, so nobody should feel like they're special or something! No worse than Monty Python or the Flying Spaghetti Monster, is it?

Burger wars heating up? Flipping the radio dial on the way to work today, I heard a story where they arrested a guy in New Hampshire for robbing a Wendy's restuarant.......the guys name was Ronald McDonald......you can't make stuff like this up.

Back in '78, I had a summer job at an auto dealership & was taking some info for some kinda application or other over the phone. When I asked the guy his occupation, he told me he was Ronald McDonald. I started to think he was some crank & starting giving him the business, as they used to say on Leave it to Beaver, really giving him a hard time, until he hung up. I rarely got mail at the dealership, but the next day I got an autographed picture of Ronald McDonald. Oops!
