i don't know (hey just because i went in search of wisdom doesn't mean i came back with any!)
but i don't think being well off makes a person bad...nor do i think poverty is good.
(greed could be an issue though!)
what disturbs me (i guess this fits here) is when some who are well off and even though they may "technically" "know" about stuff show they really have no clue just HOW crazy things can be...and even that isn't the main thing, it is this along with an arrogant and condescending attitude that appears to be all encompassing...seems to result in a very narrow view.
also, that thing about looking at someone who is worse off, like that is supposed to make you feel better? i don't understand that one.

anyway, i think it is still a good song! also a good question, goofus!

It's a great song. I don't think seeing somebody worse off than you makes you feel better. I think it can make you realize that things could be worse.

actually, that band inner circle (who played with jacob miller)...they did the theme song for that show cops, remember that? that was them....honest!

i was at a rock show...not rock music but....rocks. anyhow, there was a person there last time (and not this time) who i'd noticed sitting by a small tower of about five rocks balanced on end which looked bizzare i thought, like a scene from that movie poltergeist and i am like, "are they stacked on a pole or something?" and he is like, "no" and i am like, "no?" ...so he set forth balancing a set of rocks on end right there (which i thought was awesome) !
