This may sound weird (for me lol) but last nite I read a quote by Kerry that sounded pretty good & was the best thing he has ever said. I forget what it was tho. And of all places where I read it was in a newspaper I get that's put out by Jerry Falwell. It's probably the only time I'll ever agree with him lol as I have never agreed with him before. There was a small story in the papers over here today that kind of answeres why the crime figures are up if this is what the police are doing.

A two year old boy was playing on the pavment infront of his grandads house in one of those battery cars (it's top speed being 2.5mph) and a police car pulled up, the police man told the boy he couldn't use the toy unless he a road tax and a mot!?!? His granddad thought it was a tv wind up, but no.

TOKYO - A Japanese man arrested for alleged burglary picked his victims by sniffing women's homes for expensive perfume, police said Wednesday.

Seiichi Shirota, 46, sniffed at the doors of potential targets for expensive women's perfume to determine if the occupant was a single woman likely to own a collection of expensive designer bags, watches and jewelry, according to Kanagawa prefectural (state) police spokesman Tsuneo Kosuge.

The suspect was arrested on Dec. 23 last year for allegedly stealing three rings worth about 300,000 yen ($2,530) after breaking into a woman's apartment in Yokohama, near Tokyo, Kosuge said.

Shirota told police he relied on his smelling abilities to target apartments of single women. The alleged thief also made sure laundry hanging from a clothesline at a balcony included no men's underwear, according to Kosugi.

Police have linked the suspect to about 200 cases of robbery worth an estimated 60 million yen ($506,000).

Then I collected ice from their soda fountains,a nd cups of ice from their drive thru windows. I then tested the samples and found that, 70%of the time, the ice from the restaurant containd more bacteria than the toilet water."
Commenting on the results of her reserch (which won first prize in the regional science compaittion), Dr David Katz said "theice is likely dirtier because poeple scoop ice up in unwashed hands. Toilet water is surprisingly free of bacteria, because it comes from sanitized city water supplies, and only touches the toilet bowl."
Jasmine's elder brother added "when she told me her project idea, I gave her a high five and said 'you're a strange little kid.' But I supported her all the way."

I recently went to Alabama for my oldest son's wedding. I checked my guitar in Portland, Oregon with a beautiful Arlo Guthrie bumper sticker on the case. I arrived in NOLA to find my Arlo sticker gone!! They stole my freakin' Arlo sticker!!! I was pissed! (still am) Doesn't the TSA (Thousands Standing Around) have better things to do?
