I was thinking of that line One River Many Streams. THat is a powerful set of four words actually and would come close to summarizing my feeling on (finger in the air) the great cosmic conception (I won't use the G word). It all boils down to that stupid story about how much energy is released by the consumtion of two pints of beer. It all begins with the great cosmic expansion of a huge burst of energy and as that energy is running out of time by the great cosmic clock it flows through the universe and encounters different levels and magnitudes of resistance (the great cosmic friction) along the way. Chlorophyl in leaves are great cosmic friction. Like a paddle wheel in a stream that can grind meal to flour. There is always the wheel within the wheel as a similar paddle wheel on a grand scheme can get electrons excited and make them flow through wires and like the extra energy in the electrons in the chlorophyl hit by the sun that eventially are spent on creating a yeast cell or an armadillo cell or a human cell that concentrated cosmic form of energy is flowing down the mountains across the flat lands and into the ocean of entropy. It is beautiful. Why does man neeed a God who thinks like man should not the God of man be truly conceptually superior than the pettiness of mans endeavors.

OK enough cosmic bullshit! (Have you ever considered the energy flow in a pound of bullshit..no wait, now stop it right there)

The Carls called it the nagual (Castaneda) and the numinous (Sagan). Why anyone needs more, or needs labels, is beyond me.

A brujo and a scientist....I am with Ceashel but those who anger me are libel to lump you in the same suit they got me in with friends like that!!! watch out...I was workin the yard (man its beautiful out) and I was a thinking about those religious types (obviously Dr. Kennedy the one I love to get angry at) but I was thinking "why is he always trying to lump me in with the state? I know its separation of church and state but that don't make me a big fan of the state. I believe in social programs but that don't mean I want to be lumped in with the state. I don't know where I am going with this but I know it is an effective propaganda tool for those who are opposed to mechanisms of responsible social development (like right wing Chrisitans). THey want any social development system to have their particular belief spin on it. If it doesn't have their spin on it it must be no good.

Just thinkin out loud,,, sorry?

but then I was thinking...

The Constitution and the forefathers and stuff (which those I oppose typically wrap themselves in as being the only true interpreters of what they really meant to say) is all about creating mechanisms that allow my voice to be heard. I should embrace the state and use it by excersizing my vote and influencing others to vote the way I vote and select people with good ideas free of selfish agendas to change the state into something good. Not this thing who invades Iraq in a pointless act of military masturbation. But instead a state that makes progress in developing a truly free society that reslts in a world where military masturbation becomes extinct (a Light Comes On!!!!

I'm pretty sure there was supose to be seperation of church and state, for the reason, that the founding fathers saw what happened in Europe without it.
Tom Paine said, the people who would cause more clamities to this continant, where those who the European way of life, to be better than it was. My guess would be, that today they are the christian right. Paine also asked the leaders of the churches in Europe, "Why are you telling the people things, that you know you don't beleive youselves?"

Hey, I've been in homeless shelters in parts of this land. Being in them places and having the law preached to me was oppressive.

I am right here, In America, the People are the State?? It seems sometimes the people forget that and then sometimes ( alot of times) the state forgets that.

You don't know how bad it makes me feel to have to be an anti-religionist, because honest to God, if they would just leave everybody alone, I could give a flyin' F what they believe, I don't care!! But I don't see one bit of difference between Muslims and Christians and Jews. What I see isn't flattering! THey are all the same to me!

I am a Tom Paine fan, he was a bullshiter I know but he was a good one and at times a great one!

Ya, I own a copy of Common Sence (If only we saw more sence for the common Man.)
What isn't in every copy, but was on the last page of one copy I saw, was this, "An advitity to punish is to be avoided" for it would someday take away the punishers freedom.
Not much different from Arlo's words, "Justice is for the faint of heart."

Beaty,
I like that military masterbation line a whole lot.

Actually "Separation of Church & State" does not exist in the Constitution, but was corrupted from the First Amendment. It was originally a suggestion by Thomas Jefferson, in a letter to Congress, but was never put in the constution.

First Amendment (title) - Establishment of Religion Prohibited . . . if you want to really pervert it, that means that religion is un-Constitutional, altogether !

As far as God is concerned. A. Einstein and atheist, probably gave the best definition for God . . .
"Energy can neither be created or destroyed, only change its form"
(God is that energy !)

I thought he was a patent inspector.. Anyway, he was not quite an athiest since he argued with Bohr about God and Dice, the energy balance of a pint is the same arguement as energy changing forms sort of, its just interesting how it decreases in intensity making orderr where none existed before, life is nothing but a push against the equilibrium of the universe, but in making that push it effectively increases the rate of disorder around it.

Space land again!!!

Well, Keith Richard says (And adg says a similar story) that you don't write songs, they are just out there. So my guess is His Words are turning into Rock and Roll.

And Marty Stuart sings in Badlands, "God looked down and saw a world of suffering. Then cried out, I'm gonna give this place a name. Badlands."

I think it was a Richard Thompson song, goes like this

We are weed's in God's garden

and a David Byrne song about

Wild flowers grow best around the shit house
and that is why God spreads the shit around

something like that

anyway, I was thinking about the end o days and that Family thing been on my mind and I thought how the Bible ends by predicting are offspring (the entire offspring of humanity, all our kids and grandchildren etc etc etc) will be fooled by an antichrist for an eternity or perhaps (head scratching) we continue to be fooled for an eternity...them cosmic questions make me crazy!

If you wanna know why the world is screwed up, check out History Channel’s "Hippies" , which documents how my generation, “Generation F", (and you can interpret that with any FN word you like) set this all up !
“You reap what you sow” . . . or “Rip what you sew ” . . . or something like that !

My generation was and still is the “Free Love” generation . . . You know what, there is no such thing as free, there is a price to pay for everything, and we are now paying the price for all that “free lovin” . . .To make it worse, we mis-interpreted “Free Love” as “Free Sex” ( and free drugs, if you can get it any way you can) and there surely and definitely ain’t no free sex !

It is correct that we should Love all people, but can we afford the price ?
