Some people say that if you have to ask how much something costs then you can't afford it, but I have observed that those who can afford it, always ask how much does it cost.
Same here at ArloNet, you have an understanding of why you are here, you can get along without it, but if you are without a clue then you need it all the more.
So when asked "why you are here, answer, I am trying to talk Larry out of jumping off a bridge, when asked why you return so often, explain that we must first talk Larry into getting up on the bridge to begin with.

Imagine one of the Wilsons (Beach Boy) the age they are now (that sounds nicer than "old Southern California guy," doesn't it?), who talks rapidly and laughs a lot. And eats Chinese food.

Just tell them that it's a good vibe, a positive energy, groovy -- and while they are looking at you strange and trying to figure out what the hell you are talking about....snag the computer and log on, we'll be here.

Ok, but I don't know why you place so much value on $30.00 Timex?
By the way, the closest bridge that I have found so far is over a little stream, and is only three feet high. Will that work?

Wow....reading back through this made me think that if I ever WAS running for office, I'd want Bumper running my campaign, I mean the guy makes me sound smarter than I am! I bet he could even get someone as dumb as George W. Bush elected to office!

Vote Larry, he knows he doesn't know! do you?

Getting back on topic, remember the topic there is one of those right here, so the topic is how to convince someone that it's okay to be here in blunderland, well Arlo said, rememeber Arlo, there's a web site about him, Arlo says, just stand right up and sing a bar of Alice's Resturant, in short, you can get anything you want at ArloNet, just sit right down, log in quick and start singing.

hmmm, convince..... convince....i guess I don't so that.. I tell people about arlo.net, but , these arent people I share the computer with, so, it's not like my time, takes away from their time, well, except when we are talking...anyway,
I think we should hear from Arlo, about that, and Selective Obliviosity, too...

Thanks for the explanation what "Hail Homer " means!! I think I kind of understood what you said about that (hail Homer) and the answer would be "yes" I guess (if that's the recquired answer??)
Thank you all, it's great here!! Maybe I should print this topic out and show it to my friends and family members(?)
Yes Bumper it would be great if Arlo would post an answer to this topic!!
Larry- why don't you try and run for presidency the next time ?? I bet you could beat George Bush with speeches like that!!
Thanx again for welcoming me so nicely (I know this isn`t a correct English word but it sounds funnier )

Ok fan! I hope this helps!

Bumper, I see you have started the campaign without me. That's fine, because I don't even know what I'm running for....BUT....the last I remember, I still held the office of Governor of the State of Confusion, but if that's true, or even if it's not, I'm not sure I can hold two offices at the same time. So....I suppose everything is as it should be? Carry on. Vote for -->

All this talk of political campaigns does bring back some fond memories...or flashbacks maybe. I remember when I think I was running for The Governorship of the State of Confusion sometime a while back or in the future, that I was invited to a debate that was being held by The League of Confused Voters. Of course all the participants as well os the sponsers ended up in different venues, so we all had to debate by ourselves. Most of the folks that got lost ended up in southern Flordia last fall after a time.
Anyway....the point is that anyone can support The Confused Party, even if you don't know anyone named Chad, or even if there are not two people running against each other on the same ticket both named Jesse L. Jackson, as there is now in the midwest. We are THAT kind of party! Vote for -->
