No iron, per se, but the ingredients will blow you away:
Yeast extract, salt, malt extract, colour (caramel), vegetable flavours, vitamins (niacin, thiamine, riboflavin).

If you know of someone who wants to make a Swine flu vaccine, vegimite would be a most useful starter culture. The Aussies are on to some serious nutrients with Vegimite

vegimite IS guiness or fosters or coopers...they make it from the sludge left at the bottom of the fermentation tanks. I saw it on "how it's made"....or maybe it was "dirty jobs"..or "bizarre foods"..one of those shows.

Does that mean if one drinks a glass of Guiness one actually is consuming liquid vegemite?
