i came across a bible just now, that evidentally travelled with me to kingston jamaica as it has the names and addresses of some of the people i knew there handwritten by each one! i remember most but not all for certain

...oh, it wound up here (fairly recently (but a few years at least)...not quite sure when) after quite a spell of craziness. it had been at my folks place...i didn't open it but put it in a cabinet where a few other bibles are (every once in a while i will look through one)

Wow, that sounds like a neat story about the Bible. Somewhere around here I still have my 1969 King James Bible. My folks gave it to me for Christmas in 1969. Seems like yesterday and yet it was 40 yrs ago...

ron, i was there for a few weeks with my friend who is native (to jamaica) while she was visiting her family. she had been staying with me and my family a while...not quite sure how that happened but it was fine with me. we shared a room...she was like a big sister.

I always enjoyed Bill. Used to memorize his routines and entertain folks with them. Obviously couldn't do them as well as he.

I remember having my mom laughing so hard she had to sit down with his routine on tonsils. I was listening to it when she came into my room to tell me something and she decided to stay. Thought that was cool.

Noah is my favorite, but I also love his discourse on the nutritional value of chocolate cake for breakfast.
