At three minutes and four seconds after 2 AM on Sunday the 6th of May this year, the time and date will be 02:03:04 05/06/07. This has never happened before and will never happen again (although I guess something similar happens every 13 months).

Well, it could happen again if somebody uses a different calendar system or makes a new one up. Hey Leo! What do you think about it? Personally, I don't believe there's any cosmic or karmic side effects a gonna happen. I mean, it's all soooo screwed up with leap years and daylight savings time and all of that monkeyin' around with the numbers to make the thing work in the first place. It's unique but it happens all the time (you can quote that if you'd like.).

Captain Zap, you're spot on as usual. "It's unique but it happens all the time" is exactly how to describe this stuff, like a car passing with a license plate reading whatever it reads. The odds were incredibly high if you tried to predict the plate no., but there it was!

Well, I got a check from IBEW 588 ON 8/8/88 for $8,000 for an Abbey Road Condo I miss dearly. I would have wrote a song about it, and bought it back, but I haven't prevailed yet.
Who would believe someone lettering on Thanks Giving and getting put away for it? Oh, yes, and in Arlo's memory. I had a pile of thrash, and knew where there was a little blonde pile of trash. So rather than have 2 piles, I lettered the other one.
There was only one of 2 things I thought could have happened, and it didn't.

Doctors in Slovakia's famed Thawtaye Nicked-ya Medical Center, located in Bratislava, have performed the world's first eyelid transplant surgery. An unidentified child, born with underdeveloped eyelids, had his sight saved when doctors transplanted some of the child's own tissue to compensate for a rare congenital birth defect that afflicts less than a dozen newborns world wide each year. Ophthalmic surgeon Dr. Hugo Ahlstay, who led the surgical team, said that this is a breakthrough because of a substantially lower chance of rejection due to the use of the patient's own tissue.

Known as Ophthalmic Reconstructive Surgery, the procedure uses soft tissue taken from another part of the body to extend the lower eyelids, preferably taken from where it would not be essential nor noticeable. As the child is a boy and scheduled for a circumcision as a matter of course, the tissue was taken from the foreskin of the penis.

"We expect a full recovery and full functionality of his eyelids," said Dr. Ahlstay at a press conference a day after the groundbreaking operation.
"There is, however," he went on to say, "a thirty percent chance that he will be cock-eyed."
