Last night I had a dream about me and Arlo writing a song together. That was really cool and fun! I'm just a drummer so I was just supplying the rhythm and Arlo was strumming and we didn't have any words yet...

Anyway, I first heard Alice's Rest in my high school english class and have seen Arlo several times, a couple of time in Detroit and a couple of times here in Atlanta. I'm 57 now and haven't seen Arlo in a while so maybe it's time to go to another concert soon. Maybe we can work on that song some more .....lol.

Marv, it could be thet you are the guy that Arlo heard singing a song in his sleep one night. He claims he didn't know if it was him singing or not, but since it was his dream, he laid claim to the song and wrote it down. Now, I ain't gunna tell you the name of the song, because that will have to be part of the test of authenticity to see if it was you, if you know it. Since your song didn't have lyrics yet, I know this may be a bit of a stretch, but I like to watch those tv shows about UFO's and bigfoot and stuff too, and answering one of life's great mysteries has always been a passion of mine, even though it has eluded me...........so far.

Welcome to the site. I have had dreama before where Arlo was si9ning a song I had never heard before in my life. So I must've wrote 'em in my sleep lol. You'll have to remember your song & get him to record it...

Our song didn't have lyrics yet but I do remember telling him I thought it sounded a little bit like "Spooky" that song Atl Rhytm Section did years ago. He said yeah, it does, a little bit, but not too much....

Nope, it was not the one then. Oh well, I've failed yet again. I'm gunna go see what may have happened to that other sock that never made it out of the vortex of my dryer. I'll keep you informed if I figure it out or find a bigfoot in there or something.
