Excuse me for the shameless plug, but since many of you suggested annoying things for the book I was working on, I thought you might have an interest in knowing that it has been unleashed on the world. The Pocket Encyclopedia of Aggravations is in stores everywhere. Read about it here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1579122175/qid%3D998097459/102-4302728-6034550

(I haven't had time to do my own Web page yet)

I have a bunch of radio interviews scheduled-- Tuesday, October 30: WKWX Radio, Chicago, Mancow in the Morning 7:40 AM Chicago time.

7AM California Time, KALZ Radio Fresno, CA. Charlee Simons and Lauri West.

(Interestingly I'm doing the 7:40 AM interview before the 7AM interview. Aren't time zones fun?)

Thursday November 1 (taped) Austrian National Radio. Don't know when it will air.

1PM CFRB, Toronto, Canada. 1 hour interview.

Monday, November 5, 2:45 PM (I think, it's 5:45 Eastern) WSRK Radio, San Jose, CA. Karen Grant Show.

Tuesday November 6, 7:40 AM. WLNK Radio, Charlotte NC. Bob & Sheri Morning Show. (Syndicated to other places too)

Thanks for your interest. And if you're not interested, sorry to bug you. Image

Very interested, LL. I'm trying to keep up here and have the complete works of Laura Lee, but you're becoming quite a prolific writer. Good luck with this one and I'm looking forward to reading it.

Thanks. I hope you enjoy it. If you do, maybe you could post a review on Amazon.com.

Thanks again. I'll post my new radio stuff as I get it here, unless I actually get around to updating my own Web page this century.

Thanks to everyone who has bought a copy of The Pocket Encyclopedia of Aggravation. I just learned that the book is going into a second printing! I appriciate everyone's support and interest. I'm doing a lot of interviews in the near future. I might even update my Web page to list them all. Maybe you can hear me somewhere on a radio near you.

FREE ANNOYING THINGS!!

I realize this isn't usually something people line up for... but I wanted to let you know I've added some features to the aggravation web page. I'm going to be doing a regular Aggravation e-mail newsletter which explains the science and psychology behind a number of everyday annoyances that don't appear in the book and discuss aggravations in general. There's a poll question too, and I've added an aggravation message board and all this stuff will be much more fun if some people put their 2 c in. Here's the URL: http://www.albany.net/~lauralee/aggravations.htm

Also, to the people to whom I normally send Christmas cards... I still love you. It's just that I moved on December 1 and I had an awful lot of putting away to do so I just didn't get to writing cards this time.

Merry Christmas!!!! I was thinking of you.

If you're within range... You'll be able to see me on WCBS (NYC's CBS station) some time on Friday. (It's being pre-taped at 10 and is supposed to run the same day, I imagine as part of the news) Sorry I can't get more specific. They said the segment gets picked up by some CBS affiliates in other cities, but I don't know where. If you think you see me on CBS though, it might be. I'll be the one with the flu from hell talking about aggravations (like doing your first big TV interview to promote your book with the flu from hell)

You'll be great! I hope they pick the interview up here...I'll set up a tape to record the CBS midday news. Sorry about the flu, that's bad. But when you write Aggravations II, you have a ready-made story for the preface!

Hey Lady! Congratulations and good luck with the interviews!

And- if you've got any advice for writers of fiction- if you've got time, let me know!

(all i have to say about the grand adventure of writing one, is that when it is all said and done, so far the hardest part is writing the synopsis! Yikes!)

Good Luck!

Lauralee's taping in 26 minutes. Good, non-flu feelings headed her way.
