An obituary that was in yesterday's Hartford Courant of an elderly couple who passed away just days apart (that was the sad and sweet part) contained the following text:

"Richard..., 80, died three days after Helen. He said he was ready "to go" because the Red Sox finally won and he couldn't live with Bush for another four years."

I saw an obit a couple of years ago that ended thusly:

"Memorial contributions may be made to any organization dedicated to the defeat of George W. Bush in the 2004 election."
