Arnie, unless you're coming down I-75 and passing exit 354, I'll be out of waving range. Enjoy doin' absolutely nuthin, though. I've gotten real good at it these past few years.

I guess I saw this thread too late to ask if you wanted to take a stowaway...

It was about 15 degrees here Fri., with a windshield factor lower than that; winter weather advisory in effect here today.

Enjoy your vacation, Arnie!

Hey, Joe, I think you've invented a new weather term. What in hell is a "windshield factor" and is it covered under my full glass policy? We know what you meant, though. As they used to say in the Eastern Air Lines ads, COME ON DOWN!

That windshield factor will get you every time!

Bracing for more snow here. At least it's a holiday, so we don't lose a school day, nor do I have to worry about anyone in my family having to drive anywhere.

Eric lives a few blocks from campus, in his frat house, so I "know" he won't be stupid enough to go out driving that new Jeep Grand Cherokee of his in the snow! No, not my kid! He knows better than to do that LOL

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it's supposed to be wind chill factor, but had I said that, this thread would have 2 less posts & that would mean 2 less Blunderites didn't have any fun.

I'm on a mission to improve the quality of the internet & your own lives, one Blunderite at a time.

Guess I'd better not comment on local weather; I hate washing rotten tomatoes out of my hair. But I'll be back in August to ask for sympathy, and you surely do have mine today. Got the turbines on the roof going full tilt and aimed northeast, trying to thaw you out a little!

Thanks, Wyld--that was FUN! I am enjoying a little 'mini-vacation' myself--no work until Monday, and I'm heading to a quilt week-end from Friday-Sunday, not exactly doing nothing, but doing one of my favorite things!! I may have some exciting news soon, but I don't want to jinx anything, so you'll all just have to wait a little bit.
Have a great day, everybody! <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>

That was fun! Needed a bit of that ... between the weather, the flu (two weeks ago), bronchitis and asthma (starting last Wednesday), I've been on a crap rollercoaster. Yeesh.

Time for Spring to roll around (and time for me to get off the pity-potty).
