I finally got around to listenin' to this new recording and I gotta say, Hey its pretty good! THey got a good good country duet sound goin'. The lyrics are good! The quality of the sound and arrangements was there. I'll say it again, its pretty good!

but I don't predict it will make the big air play. Its good, but its best shot is country and they have their own world they live in! you know that coutry music is funny, I mean, coutry music is a special music! I love country music as much as any other genrey, but the country music today is rehashed overblown poorly arranged (but well performed) country rock! THis music is probably a little to, how you say, edgy for that! I mean, Loretta Lynn was a little to edgy for them last year (didn't any body else see the Grammy's with Loretta, that was f'n classic what she said!)

but I remember that NPR interview. of course when they talked about Arlo they brought up "City of New Orleans" (I love the City of New Orleans and Steve Goodman and I am sure Arlo does too but? Arlo has written some damn good songs and I don't know how many times he has said "THat was written by a good friend of mine Steve Goodman) but I have been on that train from Philly to NYC many times and that ride can sure sum up so many things about America!!!!
