We don't get our Ruby Throated Hummers up here in southern New England until sometime around May. Those little buggers winter in Mexico and fly non-stop across the Gulf of Mexico, both coming and going! Amazing little critters. And nosey, as well! My sweetie was sittin' out on the porch with a mug o' beer onetime and one came hoverin' over the mug just as she was bringing it up to her mouth! "Don't bogart that 'brew', my friend!" I could sit out there for hours watching them zip around the feeder.
