Yesterday marked the 24th anniversary (Jan. 20, 1982) of rock musician Ozzy Osbourne biting the head off of a dead bat (thinking that it was a rubber stage prop). The bat was tossed on stage by a fan during a live performance in Des Moines, IA. Ozzy was hospitalized for observation and rabies treatment injections.

you may not have heard of Arlo doing the headless chicken show, but that would be another topic for another day, and of course I am not saying it happened, but headless chickens appearing on stage have a long history and have done well,

I remember that. I bet he was ginging "Paranoia" (a Sabbath hit) after that lol. I only liked 3 of his songs "Ironman", "Paranoia" & another song whose name I forget. The rest of his & Sabbath's stuff was too weird for me lol...

I had just FINALLY talked the Blunderchooks into gettin on a plane to fly over for a Hoot at The Church and a gig with Joe at WoodyFest!!! But now after reading your post, (the Chook Dome is right outside my study and they have those little Chook size Opera glasses so they can read all the Arlonet and Group W stuff through the window) they are now REFUSING to be part of any gigs that involve a stage connected with any Guthries!!!!<img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/chicken.gif" width=20 height=34>
