I haven't been able to find the Group W bench for a few years, so glad to see you're still here.

Kidlet is in college now (believe that?)studying art and Japanese, and we're both wondering where all our old friends are.

Momzilla and Kidlet

I know, I know. Every time I look in the mirror I wonder who that white-haired old woman looking back out at me is!! I think Kidlet was about 9 or 10 when we were on here. She used to have fits over the giant clam eating people.(?) She's just finished her first year of college this week. Somebody's been playing with the controls on the time-travel machine again, and I think it got stuck on fast-forward!

Are LisaJ and the other Lisa, and Diana, and lotta other people I can't call to mind here yet? Or am I the first to wander back in?

arnie....
the "stupid wars" were a painful thing for a lot if not all of us...some of us may have had enough already going on in our personal stuff (stuff that had nothing at all to do with blunderland)...stuff some of us may not care to speak of...
...without the added wars...
but like you say, it is water under the bridge (or wherever it went) <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>

Hey, guyz, a favor?

I can take early retirement in the fall. We are thinking of moving in the spring (we live in southern california now, thinking about the mid-atlantic states or northwards from), but aren't sure exactly where to go. I'll have some cash from selling my property here - not a lot, but a good downpayment or maybe most of the cost of a small house in a small town. The only thing I need is that there be some universities within an hour or two's driving, as I'll be needing to work at least part time and that's where I've been working for the last decade or so. Looking for someplace nice, green, away from freeways. Where I can like plant some petunias in the yard and not find out the ground is soaked in agent orange or anything. I can't do real hot weather, because of the kid (she has some health probs). Can you suggest anyplace nice that we should check out? We might do some traveling in the fall, to look places over.

Also, I only kinda just barely remember there being wars. Never good things, best left behind. Glad to see the folks who are here are still here. I remember you! (Wow, that bank of brain cells can still fire!)

Dave, Kidlet wants to know when the clam is coming back online?

Hi Nan,
Long time! Retiring? Nah, can't be.

Hang around here or there or somewhere!
