Hey Captain!! Hope you know that just by posting here you are now on THE LIST, like Arlo and all the Blunderites!!!!!!!!!!!
But as Ceashel says.... All the Best People are on THE LIST. (If you go anywhere by air you'll probaply notice a strange lookin' guy standing on the runway. Don't worry, it's just the "Plane Sniffing Guy".Arlo will tell you about it at one of his concerts. P.S. Here's a hint. Never sit in seat 36!!!!! And check your pockets after hugging friends goodbye at the airport in case they've left any little gifts in your pocket that you might have to eat or flush before you see that runway sniffing guy.

Gosh Wyld, That would be one of the best days of my life if I could be there to "Turn my Back on Bush", what an historical event!! Spose it won't get much media coverage,as happened with protests the last time he was sworn in as the "Claytons" President. (An ad here for a non- alcoholic drink called "Claytons" was "the drink you have when your not having a drink")So anything that's not "True Blue" or "Dinky Di" (e.g. imposter) is a "Claytons" So I have always refered to him here as the "Claytons President."
Gosh did you see him Sneering in Canada!!!!
What about that crack about having "Eaten Alberta Beef and I'm still standing" Boy I bet that went down REAL well. He sure knows how to win friends and influence people!!!! Hey I had a nightmare.................. about 4 years from now, when his time is up, and then he pulls this stunt.................(that sneer on his face)
"well you radical, lefty, commie, subversive,
immoral,know-it-alls said I actually lost in 2000 so that means I can run a THIRD TIME! HA !HA! HA! HA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Scary Huh??

Well, thank you, Louise! I must humbly say, though, that I am probably a bit away from being one of "the best people". However,I was probably on "The List" some 34 years ago! I was in Hartford, CT one fine day back in 1970, when I met this fella on the street with a petition to allow the Communist Party on the ballot. Seein's how I figured that I was supposed to be livin' in a democracy back then and that, in a democracy, anybody who wants to run for public office should be able to, I signed the petition. Well, they made a minor stink about it back in my home town, threatening to toss any registered Democrats who signed it out of the party (which didn't happen), so I figure that around that time I was probably put on somebody's list. Not to mention that I was hangin' out with a bunch of fellow long haired "herbalists" (wink, wink! knudge, knudge! Know what I mean?!?) in "The Park" tossin' Frisbies, flyin' kites, pickin' on guitars, drinkin' Boone's Farm and "smokin' cigarettes & all kinds of stuff!" If there is a file on me, reading it would probably be a good cure for insomnia.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The state House on Friday voted against affirming the separation of church and state

"It's unbelievable to me. They have just voted against the U.S. Constitution and the constitution of the state of Arkansas,"
Democratic Rep.Blair said.

Myland 2. i am right with you! My mind meanders about on this message board because I am baffled, confused and don't know what to do with humanity as I find it!

It is almost surreal what people are capable of!

Along with the author's own observations there's a really interesting quote:

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR>
In January, Paul Craig Roberts, assistant secretary of the treasury during the Reagan administration and associate editor of the Wall Street Journal's far-right editorial page, published a damning column in the progressive Z Magazine about fascist tendencies in the conservative movement. "In the ranks of the new conservatives, however, I see and experience much hate. It comes to me in violently worded, ignorant and irrational emails from self-professed conservatives who literally worship George Bush," he wrote. "Even Christians have fallen into idolatry. There appears to be a large number of Americans who are prepared to kill anyone for George Bush … Like Brownshirts, the new conservatives take personally any criticism of their leader and his policies. To be a critic is to be an enemy."
<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

We are living in a different country than we did before this band of criminals seized power. I have no idea what to do. I'm working for the Democrats because I think that's the best use of what time and energy I have. They might not be enough of an opposition party, but they're not the evil bastards that today's RW is. I really wish we could separate - let Bush have half the country with his people and let the sane people go free. Of course, only if Bushland didn't have nukes...cause they'd fucking use them.

Ya know what. I had said that once awhile back after the election that the Kerry Liberals ought have their own country & the Bushers their own country with it split in half & then they might get along better. So interesting commment there... <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15> <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/peace.gif" width=16 height=16>

God is something grown-ups believe in, when there's nothing else to grasp on to. ntm: God forgives everyone for everything!!!

I wish my friends were that kind. God. I dunno????

Of my many yrs. in A.A. I learned the value of a higher power. Nobody at the time, told me it would be George W. Bush????

To me he will always be the devil incarnate!

I think that we not only have to start enforcing the separation of church and state, but it's getting pretty obvious that with government sanctioned corporate mergers (re: monopolies), select corporations profitting from the Iraq war and the deaths of thousands on all sides, corporate lobbyists, corporate campaign financing (I'm sure that I'm leaving lots more out), and now Bush's goal of turning more of the private citizen's money over to corporate America (Social Security "reform"/privatization), we need a separation of corporate and state, as well!

Hmmm! I did leave out some stuff that Dubya & Co. are pushing! A payment ceiling on medical lawsuits; making class action suits harder to file (and only to be heard by the Federal Supreme Court rather than the states'; making it more difficult for private individuals to file for bankrupcy....all stuff that benefits big business & corporations and takes more from we the people!

Eisenhower - a Republican - warned of the growth of a military-industrial complex.

W. is its Crown Prince.
