After speaking to my dad yesterday, he told me that Joan is on heavy pain meds and not doing well, and his words..that the end is near..... So I somehow found the strenght I needed to give her a call today. ( we have not seen Joan, Amanda & Matthew in over 8 yrs) BUT still I wanted to let her know how our friends are praying for her and the kids and how kind enough you all were to include the "foster family " in these prayers! I also wanted Joan to know, even though its been so long since we have seen them I would like to help out in the days ahead! SHE THANKS ALL of you, and says yes she does need a miracal, and I told her that is what we are praying for! She is not up for visits, and I understand that! Her sllep time is while the kids are at school, so again folks keep up the great work, and thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Hello everyone~
I have just received a call from my Dad, Joan passed away thismorning..I truely want to thankyou ALL for the vibes/prayers and ask if you could ALL just keep them going for Amanda & Matt...and the wonderful family that will take these babies in and now raise them.

I'm very sorry to hear that Joan has passed on. Of course we will continue the Vibes, I hope Joan felt at ease that her Children would be in safe loveing hands knowing that she herself would not be able to be here for them any longer. I hope that she is now at rest.

My heart really goes out to these kids. My God, can't anything just be simple? Why do the kids have to suffer so much?
