What a great weekend. I read somewhere that JohnC kept a setlist, so I'll defer to him. Suffice it to say that all 3 shows were fabulous and Lance, Michael and I had a wonderful time at The Church.

Sounds great. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to see a set list!
Also, did any of you meet Arlo? If so, how's he doing?

Nov. 19th at Club Passim looming on the horizon.

Thanks for sharing! Those were neat pics! I felt like I was there. Seeing people with their music instruments reminds me that if I had been able to go I would've brought my autoharp, dulcimer & canjo with me...

One of the things that I'll remember most about this year's fall concerts is the poltergeist that showed up and joined in at the shows. Arlo spent more time tuning his guitars than I've ever seen him do--he even remarked about it, and said his 12-string never went out of tune, but it did. Then he broke a string on his 6-string near the end of Friday night's show, and so he played Black Mountain Rag on the 12-string, which stayed in tune for that song and was very cool! Sunday night Gordon broke not one, but three strings on his pedal steel guitar in the space of no more than 10 minutes, which I'm told is unheard of amongst musicians. The last string went flying out into the audience. Arlo blamed it all on church concert regular Gay, sitting front and center in her regular seat, and turned his guitars around in the rack so they were facing away from her. I don't think anything weird happened after that. I've been wondering if the poltergeist followed her home, though.

kj!!!

i'm here looking at these pictures...thinking how great they are...and how grateful i am for your sharing them, but thinking as i continue through them, "but kj, you're not in them, where are you??" and then all of a sudden, there you are!...and that's not all!! hahaha...! (after-all, i thought i would be more invisible than that under the circumstances) :) you are too cute. (btw, i remember when dave took that picture...he is pretty quick!!)
of course i'd love to have a copy of that whenever you get around to it. if you lost my e-addy i'll send it to you. (pardon me if i'm being a giddy chatterbox...they had to drag me by the heels kicking and screaming away from the renaissance faire a little while ago...and this here is a cherry on top!)
i'm afraid soon i will have fallen asleep on the keyboard...
