Arlo was just TERRIFIC as he played with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra on November 18th in Springfield, MA. I missed seeing the rest of the Guthrie Family playing and look forward to seeing them all play together again soon~~~

I just realized I entered my report in the wrong topic I got Jello for brains DUH!
I attended the show last night at Springfield Symphony Hall, I decided to go the last minute I needed to get out of closet confinement I got tired of hanging around so I needed a cheering up enhancement. Man, the Springfield Symphony Orchestra was a blast along with Arlo like peanut butter and jelly The audience consisted of mostly the older generation made up of approximate ages of 65-85 and most of them enjoyed themselves. For instance one elderly man in the audience was singing along to City Of New Orleans at the top of his lungs and later on the same man sang along to I Can't Help Falling In Love With You as he looked at his wife and held her hand. How sweet was that?

Springfield Symphony Orchestra opened the show with an Appalachian Mountain dance song(I think) that Arlo's mother danced to years and years ago, song lasted 30 minutes.

P.S. I just want to say that Arlo and Elvis have something in common-Paradise Hawaiian Style "hula baby rock" and also brings out the Elvis in all of us just makes our "hips want to swing" as quoted from a Faith Hill tune

I also attended the Saturday night performance of Arlo at Springfield Symphony Hall. Had 4th row seats. He dedicated a love song to his wife that had everyone in tears. Including myself. It was beautiful. I disagree with the writer that said most of the crowd was over 65. I saw a lot of 40 and 50 year olds and even families with children. There are no generation gaps when it comes to Arlo's music. It's timeless. I can't wait til he comes back around. I will be there no matter how old I am. Love and Peace- Linda[/i]

I did not mean to sound offensive about age groups. There are lots of times where it is hard for me to determine age. In the section I was sitting there were the 65 and up and I little bit lower than 65.
