It was a great concert! I hadn't seen any shows since EPCOT 06 so the Family Tour show has developed a good bit from then. I really enjoyed the the inclusion of the Woody songs and was glad I got to hear the Woody wire recording that others had reported on (Arlo mentioned that those recordings would be coming out on July 14th).

It was a great mix of all the generations and I enjoyed hearing Johnny (& Sarah Lee's) new song with the "working title" of Brush your teeth blues #56. I also had fun taking a friend along who has been a longtime adg fan but had never been to a concert. Nice to see his face as he enjoyed the 'magic' of Arlo live! Sarah Lee, Johnny and Arlo came out afterward so we got to say hello and get a photo.

Only thing I'm bummed about...no EPCOT this year and so far I don't see any concerts nearby or somewhere I'm travelling.

Great report, steph! I had a fantastic seat in the third row of the pit on Sarah Lee and Johnny's side of the stage. I just wanted to add that Sarah sings like an angel, and the harmonies with Johnny were excellent. Overall, the show was a great mix of the folkslinger's classics, Woody's archival stuff, and nice new material. Looks like adg won't have to worry about who to pass the musical torch too.

What about Gordon? Is he still with the tour? Didn't he get to do his train song?

Yup, Gordon T. and son Abe were there, but they were strictly numbers 4 and 5 of the group. Only Arlo, Sarah, and Johnny were at the meet-n-greet after the show. Abe, of course, does all the keyboard stuff and Gordon could probably play a washboard if he had to; didn't do his train song though.
