Arlo and Abe did a great job as the opening act for Arlo's two youngest grandaughters.
I know that there were some friends there writing down the set list, and I'll expect we will hear from one of them soon.
There were some things pulled off the shelf from under the cobwebs, but they didn't sound cob-webby!

Bittersweet night it was, as it was Abe's farewell show for the foreseeable future. Gordon's was the night before.
Sarah Lee and Johnny performed in the second set(Joined by Annie and aforementioned grandaughters), after just arriving from the Atlanta area at intermission after an 18 hour drive...... talk about troupers!

I have a setlist for the Sunday night show. The first half of the show was only Abe and Arlo onstage. On stage in the second half of the show was Abe, Arlo, Annie, Sarah Lee, Johnny and later Olivia and Jacklyn went on stage towards the end of show.

Thanks Arlo and Family for a wonderful night, the night was like the Guthrie Legacy Show all over again. In other words an encore performance.

After the show I bought a copy of Johnny's pre-release CD and had him autograph it and chatted with him for a few minutes, he is a very nice person indeed Sarah Lee is one lucky girl.

It was also a great pleasure seeing George, Freaky, Judy, Sue, Kurt, Trish, Regina, John, Larry again. I'm sorry if I left anybody else out. It was also a pleasure meeting Killer and Fitzy for the first time.

I had a wonderful weekend but I felt so sad at the end of the night because I did not want to go home, like someone once said, all good things must come to end.

I hope to see you all again in the Fall

I got some video with my camera, but Judy and I were laughing so hard during Shade of the Old Apple Tree, it's of limited value. Have no fear, Arlo...it will not show up on YouTube unless Jackie posts what she filmed!

Shade of the Old Apple Tree was hilarious I was laughing too I thought I was gonna pee my pants I hope Jackie posts it on You Tube as well as She'll Coming Around the Mountain in which I laughed so hard too. I never heard that version before. I was taught different lyrics to that song when I attended Kindergarden years ago...Times are sure changed

I had a chance to talk to Jackie before the walk and compliment her on one of the best pieces of cinema I've ever seen. Her "Mouseumentary" You Tube production rivals Gone With the Wind, Citizen Cane, The Maltese Falcon and even The Wizard of Oz. Besides producing this film, she directs, operates the camera and even stars in it along with a little four legged friend.In addition to it's dramatic and comedic value, it also shows what a world full of gentle souls like Jackie might be like. 2 thumbs up! (cuz I only got 2)

If memory serves correct, for these three songs, Annie,Jacklyn and Olivia joined the rest of the gang......(perhaps for sunnyside too?)

I don't remember if Annie or Jacklyn joined in for the last two songs. My foot was bothering me the whole night due to the Walk, it gave me a headache and went for HeadOn. Oh no not a collision, the stick

Hey, Sue, sorry my laughing was detrimental to the video, but My God! It was sooo funny, and in my helplessly tired, punchy state, after working my butt off (don't I wish!) in the kitchen and missing out on sleep (sleep?) all weekend, I was totally defenseless, and indeed, didn't know if I'd ever be able to stop laughing. I mean, I laughed so hard I was crying! I was afraid that Arlo would finally have to ask someone to personally escort me away, so I would stop disrupting the show! It was hard, but I finally managed to get myself at least somewhat under control again......until Olivia stole the show with "She'll be coming around the mountain". It looked like it was the same for you, too. If your video didn't turn out the way you wanted, it was all Arlo's fault!

I'd sure love to see that video, especially with all the laughing... makes it so much more "real."

Jackies mouse video is great! I really enjoyed seeing that one...

Larry and all my friends at the GC (some of whom actually know me): Just wanted to let you all know that I got back home to Ocala this afternoon none the worse for wear and tear. Sorry I didn't get to say hello to all of you that were there (I was the quiet guy sitting next to Larry eating his carrot sticks!), and sorry I didn't get to meet Cyndy who had car trouble and never got there.

All I can say is that the "family" stole the show, especially the little ones.
Will be looking forward to the ADG "solo ensemble" tour coming up; hope to meet up with more of you in the near future.

By the way, if you read about some passengers who were escorted off my train in North Carolina for smoking "an illegal substance," it wasn't me as I was sound asleep in my coach seat under the influence of a Mr. Jack Daniels.

It's a good video...it's just so funny! The camera shakes every time I was laughing (I was hopelessly tired and punchy, too! Sleep? What sleep?) and I thought we'd BOTH be escorted out or get that disapproving look...! We kind of sound like baboons, with all the laughing. It's something we'd love and appreciate, but other people who weren't there might not. It was just too much fun for the state I was in, and it's not like I was shooting for documentary material...it's a silly little video from my digital camera!
Gotta love it...!! It's really kind of original and priceless...a great piece of blundervideo.
