I would like to be the first Hillary supporter to congratulate Barack and give him my support.
I do have my misgivings, but at the end , i want the hate to stop, and I belive the first step is ending war.

Congratulations to Barack. I hope Hillary goes for Vice President, so all the Democrates will vote for the two of them and McCain's chances will be lower. He scares me more than Bush.

From his speech to the American-Israeli Political Action Committee in Washington yesterday, it sounds like he's going to run as the first-in-a-long-time 'national security Democrat.' Great speech that turned a big roomful of hawks who were slightly hostile and only applauding politely at first into a clapping, cheering crowd by the end. He stressed a strong, rational approach to Iran, beginning with crafted diplomacy and working again with our allies, and pulling out the troops from Iraq. He was not afraid to point out all the errors we've committed in the Middle East from 2002 to now, and countered each with what he will do to make things better there & for us and Israel. He quoted McSame's swipe that he just "wants to sit down and talk with the Iranians" and then made it sound like the childish, stupid jab that it is. Obama apparently is not going to let the Republicans frame the issues for him as all recent Dems have done. You go, guy! I wish I had a link to it, but I heard it when Rachel Maddow played a long portion of it on her AirAmerica program. Maybe someone will find parts of it on uTube.

saw a picture of Hillary online this AM and thought how difficult this must be for her and her valiant supporters... she fought hard and well... and for many of us it was not an easy choice....
of course the media is playing the what went wrong angle.... and of course, nothing.... it is as it is...

so I celebrate...but with gratitude and respect to Hillary Clinton and all those who work so hard for her .... may we all be winners .... and defeat the true enemies...

I enjoyed Hillary's speech yesterday at American-Israeli Political Action Committee also. When she mentioned Obama, I thought she was about to concede and actually caught myself with tears in my eyes.

Personally, I'd rather she have a more powerful (I can't believe I'm saying this) position than VP. I think she's way too much of a control-freak to be VP.

Since we need a VP, I was sorta thinking about Bill Richardson. He's "hispanic" but I think he should acknowledge his Indian roots. What a combo ticket that would be!

But, I'm scared that Ed Rendell might be on Obama's list. Beware of Rendell! He's a real grandstander, but I love when his handlers catch him and he reverses himself... I've met him several times (or should I say I've had run-ins with him) and never cared for him. I have a picture of him with Corey when she won one of the city-wide art awards at Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia back when he was mayor. He's such a jerk!

You guys can give Obama my phone number if you like. I could use a high paying no work job with good benefits.

Yes. I admit to feelings of defeat. And I am grateful for kj 's words. I am not angry at all, as some were a few days ago. I received an email on Tuesday from the Clinton campaign, saying they were going to hold off until they heard from us. That to me was sheer class. It was a magnanimous show of appreciation for her supporters.

I believe that Hillary will prevail, will find way to make true to her commitments, and significantly impact the government for the people. She has committed to her supports that our voices will be heard. She is a strong, loving person, that is an irresistible combination for me!. She will take what she has become, and go forward. I don't believe it was just a matter of her getting power any more that it is for any other politician.

As for our next VP....
