...my cats would love to tear into that ornament! It looks soft and wooly and very battable/biteable.

What a hoot! When I first opened this there was nothing but white as the photo hadn't loaded which I thought was intentional. Especially in light of the fact that we got around 9 to 12 inches of the white stuff here yesterday and into today. The 40 mph winds didn't help matters along with the temps in the teens and lower. Went to deliver the "shopper" paper and got about 6 houses into it and decided since I was sweating, breathing hard and my heart was going about 90 from "walking" through knee high snow drifts I should go back home. Which I did.

As bone-chilling and finger-tingling as it was yesterday, at least it was the first day that Christmas shopping felt like Christmas shopping. I almost feel sorry for my family in Florida that The Christmas season just feels like any other time of year. It should at least feel good to get into the malls to get out of the bitter cold.

Tho was good to go to my family home only 16 miles away. The kids had a huge snowball fight and we almost hit 3 cars driving down the street, yet in our little South Jersey home we had no snow to have to shovel in the morning.

I'll get a taste of both worlds...we've already had 6" of snow here in No. Va. I'm headed to the Tampa, Florida area on Wednesday to help my sister deal with the estate sale of what's left of mom's furniture and stuff. Here, it's been in the 20's at night and 40's during the day...I'm looking forward to the balmy 70's in Tampa!
