Having just returned from a Spring Break road trip from Michigan to DC, to VA Beach to Cape Hatteras to Charlottsville I have been thinking I may have passed thru your town : )

She gave my sister a ticket for 75 in a 55! She Officer Freeman) came to the window and asked my sister for her license. Annie is wearing this huge Blue Hat.
Annie tells the officer she cannot find it and asks if she can get out of the vehicle to look in her luggage in the back. Officer Freeman says to her , you can get out, but the I don't think the hat is going to work!
Annie looks at her sunburned face and says, "Well I am trying to protect my face from the sun." meow!

So sorry ya'll had to deal with speed traps in VA. If ya ever go thru Colonial Heights be forewarned, that is a speed trap town. A cousin of mine who used to be a hippie in the 60's got a speed ticket there once. After that he was suggesting folks boycott the town lol...
