Confusion is an exact logic which I can almost understand except for the part where the confusion clears and we observe the cow chewing it's grass. Of course, in my confused state I can not be sure if I have ever accepted the greater truth of confusion but if saying Hail Homer and sending my mites to Pope Todd will help me enter into the kingdom of confusion then I will gladly do so, but I am still confused as to just how one goes about getting confused in the first place.

well, to me, classic, pure confusion, is, when one knows one does not know what one does not know..... neo, or, some might say, "impure" confusion, is when one does not know one does not know what one does not know, ya know??? how does one achieve pure confusion? I don't know. so, maybe I have, or not, who knows......!!!!

Sorry Pope Todd, you can't quit, we have to fire you, and that ain't likely to happen.

Nathen, you are confusing the concepts of "selective obliviosity" and "confusion",this means you may be practicing both disciplines at the same time. You are in fact oblivious to the fact that these are two very different concepts, which means if you are ignoring that fact by choice, you are practicing the former, if you are just unaware of, or incapable of understanding this fact, you may be practicing the later.
If however, you are chosing to be oblivious about your own confusion, you are practicing both disciplines in absolute harmony. If this is the case,in our new religion, we shall now refer to this phenomenon as "The Nathan Paradox". Hail Homer!

well put, Larry, the Nathen pair a ducks..it occured to me that explaining selective obliviosity, to Nathen is like giving directions, to tree moss, it just knows...the moss, I mean...
Nope, your Highness...you can pntificate, wave, preach, but, you can't abdicate....a Papal vacation, maybe ...remember, that's what "W" did, 3 months in office & he headed for Crawford TX!

And Nathan, to help you in your quest for selectivly oblivious confused enlightenment, remember one of our most basic tenets : "Perfect logic does not exist in any understandable human terms, but perfect confusion does.......sorta". Now go forth into the unknown, for you will become one with the unknown, and make it even harder for the rest of us to understand.....my son. Hail Homer!

Yeah, and the "Over and under" for "W" saying "ummmmm...." at a 4 minute press conference is 14. Even money on the over/under.

To Hell with Homers, I ain't no baseball fan.

I totally agree with what Larry said except for the parts I did not understand, those being the parts where he was saying something about something or other, but I just did not catch the drift of it. Larry has always been and idea man of the Times, I however read the Post.

Bumper is so right, he too clearly says what he means and if what he said was what I thought he said then indeed he said it well but if what he said was not what I thought then even better because he has given me fresh insight into confusion.

Todd, his holiness the Pope or as we call him down south, Mr Potato, is as always true in the insightfulness of being. His farts remind me of a barking spider, and that is a rare thing indeed.

The last church I joined asked me to leave, and never return, sort of like being told to go to Hell isn't it? I wonder what this new church might do?

We might....if you bring any of those barking spiders into the pews, 'cos then the pews would be p.u.'s, and we can't have that.
Many of our members are flatu-arachniphobic.

Larry, i think I'd worry about "arachno-flatulence"in the pews, even more
Two more Americans turned up, in Taliban forces, I bet they won't make Reggae on the River, next August, either....
huamn beings sure are fascinating creatures, capable of infinite leaps of enigmatic convolutions.. that's like a zebra deciding to run with the cheetahs

Huh? What? I guess I'd better tune into the news when I get home. You mean to say that all our spy shops, special forces, etc., failed to infiltrate the Taliban, but Tom, Dick, and Harry from down the road just kinda wandered in and were made welcome??? 'Splain, please.

Pama, that's about the size of it. Don't count on much of an offcial explanation. They may be just the teeniest bit embarrased down in Langling this week.

Bumper, Larry, The Post-It notes with the birth info have re-apparated as inexplicably as they mystappeared. Perhaps it was Peeves. Sorry you had to wait, though.
