A lobbyist, on his way home from work in Washington, D.C., came to a dead halt in traffic and thought to himself, "Wow, this seems worse than usual."

He noticed a police officer walking between the lines of stopped cars, so he rolled down his window and asked, "Officer, what's the hold-up?"

The officer replied, "The President is depressed, so he stopped his motorcade and is threatening to douse himself in gasoline and set himself on fire. He says no one believes his stories about why we went to war in Iraq, or the connection between Saddam and al-Qa'ida, or that his tax cuts
will help anyone except his wealthy friends; the press called him on the lie about Iraq trying to buy uranium from Niger, and now Campbell Brown is threatening to sue him for a sexual innuendo he made at a recent press conference. So we're taking up a collection for him."

The lobbyist asks, "How much have you got so far?"

The officer replies, "About 14 gallons, but a lot of folks are still siphoning."

Three Texas surgeons were playing golf together and discussing surgeries they had performed.

One of them said, "I'm the best surgeon in Texas. A concert pianist lost 7 fingers in an accident. I reattached them, and 8 months later he performed a private concert for the Queen of England."

One of the others said "That's nothing. A young man lost both arms and legs in an accident. I reattached them, and 2 years later he won a gold medal in field events in the Olympics."

The third surgeon said, "You guys are amateurs. Several years ago a cowboy who was high on cocaine and alcohol rode a horse head-on into a train traveling 80 miles an hour. All I had left to work with was the horse's ass and a cowboy hat. Now he's president of the United States."

What about the surgeon that put John Wayne Bobbit's little bobbit back on?? Was he there too?

And while we are on the subject of medicine, did you know that Barbara Bush made medical history when she gave birth to each of her three sons by a different method?
Neil Bush was born by C-section, Jeb Bush was born by a vaginal delivery, and George W.Bush was born by the worlds only documented case of an anal delivery. Poor Barbara! Strange, but true.

Five surgeons are discussing who makes the best patients to operate on.

The first surgeon says, "I like to see accountants on my operating table because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered."

The second responds, "Yeah, but you should try electricians! Everything inside them is color coded."

The third surgeon says, "No, I really think librarians are the best; everything inside them is in alphabetical order."

The fourth surgeon chimes in, "You know, I like construction workers. Those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over at the end, and when the job takes longer than you said it would."

But the fifth surgeon shut them all up when he observed: "You're all wrong. Politicians are the easiest to operate on. There's no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains and no spine, and the head and the ass are interchangeable.

Here's something for you,
I was watching News Round, the Children,s news program while I was feeding Arlo and up comes this report:-

Fruit flavored Fruit! Apparantly we are getting board with Bananas even though they are the number one selling fruit, so they are going to geneticaly modify them to taste like a different fruit!

Didn't say what fruit bananas were now going to taste like, may be orange, or papaya, maybe even strawberry, OR we could have a banana flavoured banana just for fun <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>

That figures; we're so insecure about how WE look or smell or make love, that we may as well engineer our food to be different (better?) as well.

One thing, though, even if they made liver and onions taste like Haagen-Dasz ice cream, I still wouldn't eat it.
