I have personally experienced the Arlo magic. My brother had a bad drinking problem.I took him to see Arlo at the Caolina Theatre in March 2000.He listened to Arlo's take on life, and has not had a drink since. Thanks Arlo.We had tried about everything, but your magic got through to him. Your really special, you gave my whole family a great gift. I just wanted to share that. Your tops in my book. Long live that special magic. Thanks again.

Thanks Deb.I just wanted people to know that Arlo is changing this world thru his music and his hope. My brother is living proof. So when he says these songs can change the world, they really can. All you have to do is listen and open your heart.

I was there & it was a wonderful spiritual nite. I remember after the show a lady telling Arlo that after the show after hearing him sing AMAZING GRACE she had decided to change her life around. I felt the presence of God in that place! Great story! God is definately using Arlo to touch the lives of many! Thank you Arlo! AMAAZING GRACE HOW SWEET THE SOUND! (He sang it that nite!) Yes it was a magic evening Cheryl. Do you remember how he was talking about he had just played in Raleigh, and they usually don't send him right back to the same area. I have seen Arlo 5 times, and I had never heard him talk so much about life, and hope. It's almost like he knew some how my brother needed that hope and love. What a wonerful night it was.

Arlo knows stuff, it's true. It's wonderful thing about your brother. Arlo sends a message that tells you that life is worth living, even when it's hard. When that gets through to someone it can move mountains.

Thanks guys. This seems like a very nice place. I've been preaching about Arlo on a Ringo site. I didn't know Arlo had a message board. This is great.

Did anyone see Arlo perform Clamso in Raleigh N.C.at Stewart Theatre when it was recorded for the One Night lp. I think that's probably the hardest I have ever laughed in my life. That was my first Arlo concert in 1977 or 1978. Each time I see Arlo I think well he can't be as good as he was the last time. Then he's always better. I saw Ringo Starr this summer.Wonder if Arlo and Ringo have ever played music together. That would be some show. I also got a great feeling of hope and love at Ringo's concert.

Mark, I guess I'm not the first to think of that. ARLO would be great in 'The Allstar Band'. He defineately qualifys. (I guess he does anyhow. Anyone with a 25 yr. old hit record. He'll make the R&R Hall of Fame, if he's not there allready? Second manditory term of the All-Star-Band....

*A few issues back in Rolling Stone, Ringo did an interview. When asked how he felt about 'Todd Rundgren' playing as the All-Star Band without him? he replied "no I don't mind. Todd has to live. He has rent to pay in Hawaii. I wish him all success."

** So it's cool there's more than one All-Star Band. Leave it to Todd Rundgren (A Wizard, A True Star) to run with a good thing! . . .:tyedie:. . . .
