Nah....herding cats is easier than herding blunderites! Although, the proper equipment can help in either process.

I've been in the hospital since monda....

we are working on two main missions here..
one...my health and what i'm doing to survive until transplant..

two...get everything done for transplant
evalutaion..

this week my health has stablized and i am feeling pretty damn good mow. i had as usual,
restricted my sodium intake til i approached seizure and blackout status..the doctors keep reminding me that we're just buying time until transplant...not trying to cure me.

as for transplant..met my transplat co-ordinator...we were given a thick packet of all the tests, evals, and such..with the advice that every t must be crossed and every
i dotted..or it will be rejucted..

anyway,,,since i am here in the hospital, we
used the postition to get as many things done as possible. since i'm here i can take any cancelled appts or bad time slots not
used.

what would take between 3 to 6 montha to get
appts the regular way..only took me four days.

cat scan; abdomin
chest
head.
chest xrays.
ekg.
echo cardiogram.
hiv tests.
std test.
tuberculosis test.
two ultra-sounds of liver.
cross and type blood
prepare blood units needed for surgery.
family education
social worker for cindy, mike, myself,
and all of us toether.
psycologists eval
psychiatrists eval
dental eval and plan...about $10k planned..
top shelf hardware.
schedule family care education in philly.

and now i must leave to have an endoscopy..
to check for varices.

will answer any questions later..should be
home by tonight...and strong enough to move
about..HOORAY!

Wow..talk about leaving no part untouched. My mother does that same thing with sodium. She's supposed to restrict it, so she does it to the point of dehydration, but then she's a little nutty about stuff like that. Nothing nutty about our Todd, right?
