Good luck on the car--congrats on the house!

I'll be there tonight; I can TRY if it's next Thursday, but I 'll be having anaesthetic that morning so I may still be out for the count. (Or maybe I'll be just awake enough to be really, really relaxed....)

Sorry, Nathen, you would lose. We don't have to have a minyan to call it a meeting.

You will forgive me if I question if a chicken with it's head cut off can find the door.

I am sure you all have the best of intentions but your leader is some what like our vice-president, often lost but only a heart beat away from power.

Hi fellow readers! Sorry I missed last night--if any actual discussions took place, can you catch me up via email? Are we gonna try this again? Is rb still interested?

I could do next Monday, but next Thursday is out for me. Gosh! this is harder than I thought.

The house is really cute, a great starter place, 3 bedrooms--either grandkids sooner or later, or a place for Mom to stay when she visits (sure). Let me know what our plans are.

OK.. I can do Sunday, Thursday, Friday...
Could do Wednesday, but will be dividing my attention with another online meeting.

I've read about a hundred pages, and Shelley had just started the book, so we only chatted a little... we both agree that we like Andy's forthrightness about his youthful errors, and we like that he is, obviously, an anti-war person. (that's the readers digest condensed version of our chat last nite...

Well, next week I could do Wednesday, NOT Thursday, possibly Friday or Saturday. You know, nothing ever used to happen on Thursdays until we decided to have BBC meetings--now my family comes up with something for me to do every Thursday
I have to get back to the book, too--not finished yet. I agree with the Reader's Digest version of the chat. I don't know if I would have contributed much more than that to a real, live meeting

This is an unoffical offical statement regarding the yet to be named blunderland book club. However there have been several who said that it should be called " Robert Brown's, Mystery Book Club", as when it meets is such a mystery.

There will be regular meetings, with or without the members being present and such meetings will take place in Moose Crossings, unless they are held elsewhere.

The meeetings will start at 8 PM with or without members being present.
The meetings will open with a reading by the President, R Brown, unless he fails to show in which case, Vice-President Wyldflower will let the other members know that Rob is not there. Unless Wyldflower does not show then poor Pat will have to do the reading, unless of course this part of the meeting is not a part of that meeting.

After the reading, if there is a reading, then a vote will be taken to go on with the meeting if there are enough members present to vote, that being two or more members or guests if any should show up.

The day of the meeting which will be on Mondays during the first month, unless Tuesdays are better then the next meeting will be on Tuesday unless Thursday is better, but never on a Sunday nor a Monday unless it was voted for on the last Monday meeting.

All meetings will be held according to Robert's Rules of Order unless Hoyle's Rules Apply.

Pat will be in charge of the club song and Wyldflower will sew the club uniforms, unless they want to change jobs and then Rob will have to do both.

All books reviewed by the club must be recorded and a small fee paid to the writer of the book as that only seems fair, unless the book has been stolen and then no dues will be expected from the reader.

These by-laws are enforce as of this date unless they are enforced at some other date or not enforced at all, in which case, you can all bite me as I was only trying to ease your confusion.

I nominate "Turn, turn, turn" as the club song until I have time to come up with something better.
