As Wyld posted in the main forums, she and I have a Blunderweekend planned in D.C. around the April 25 March for Women's Lives. If you're going, e- one of us; it could be a movement!

Reg mentioned this some time ago and I said I'd go with her. I assume blunderguys are welcome.

We need as many voices as possible, telling the government that we are through with them messing with our lives and our health!

Women's lives and health issues affect EVERYONE!

Don't know if I can make that weekend (depends on finances), but if I'm not there in person, I will certainly be there in spirit. Marched in Dallas on this issue once and it was a remarkable experience. Amazing group of women of all ages from all walks of life.

Of course--Blunderguys are absolutely welcome!

A million people +/- a few... all on the DC Mall, march past the White House, the Justice Department and to the Capitol!

Ceashel and I were two amidst the multitude!

Cheryl, we may/may not be in the clips you saw, but WE WERE THERE. And Reg was there, too--along with other Blunderites who wanted to be there. Despite what you may read elsewhere in these boards, her body may have been in New Jersey, but she and John and others were in our hearts and marching shoulder-to-shoulder between us. It was a life-changing time. So many people--a true cross-section of America and the world. Grandfathers, babies, cool girls and guys, "future abortion providers" (med students), TV and movie stars, professors, middle-aged women, gay guys, lesbians, Junior Leaguers, carpenters--all types, all nationalities, dogs, puppies (didn't see any cats, though). All with one purpose: The dignity and freedom of us all. Wow.

Many thanks to all who attended the march.

I'm still almost speechless... A million women, men and children, all gathered on the DC Mall to demonstrate for Women's right to choose. I was amazed at the number of young women, since the rumor mill was saying that the turnout was likely to be predominantly old fogeys like me. I'd say about half the people there were under 30. There are many reports on the internet and in the papers... they can tell better than I, what the speakers had to say, since we weren't always in range of the audio system. But I was blown away by the quality of speakers I heard... Madeline Albright, Hillary Clinton, Tyne Daly, Gloria Steinem... and many many others.

One thing that was emphasized...
