There was a rumour that Paul Newman was thinking of going for Lieberman's office (notice I didn't say "seat"!). He'd get my vote. Ol' "Cool Hand Luke" would make a great senator, I reckon!

Leiberman, he's one of the better Dem's. If he got in there I wouldn't mind too much. At least he's a member of the PTC...

Well perhaps this string has run dry. There are 33 Senate seat on the ballot in 2006 and every damn house seat. I don't think it is pie in the sky that a big majority of US voters would turn them all out, get rid of these two awful partys and simply put smart, kindhearted citizens in their place. We have millions to choose from.
So it could be all folk singers or all women or some of this and a little of that.
Here in Washington state we have a one term Democrat as Senator who voted with Bush on the Iraq war and bought her seat with her computer company fortune.
Danny Glover lives in Seattle. Jim McDermott congressman from Seattle and a doctor, not a lawyer would be viable.

ARlo in the senate! Let's load up the pipe and get our dreams happening.
