Before last Fri., I had never seen somebody strap a cello to their body & play it like a guitar. It was a free outdoor lunchtime concert. She couldn't have been comfortable in the 90-degree heat, no protection from the sun, & a cello strapped to her, but she was fantastic.

Lindsay Mac (No relation to Fleetwood).

Members and veterans of the military tell Karl Rove what they think of his recent statements.

This is incredible, but this web site reads your mind, time & time again:
http://www.MysticalBall.com

Here's one for Arnie & any other basketball fan who passes thru. You can hear the original radio broadcast of the 3/2/62 game in which Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points. (Or you can cheat & click on the number 100 & skip directly to the 100th point.)

A really fun (addicting) download... you can zoom in, tilt to see earth's formations while "standing on the ground" or fly above and get the bird's eye view... fun to placemark special places... just a really neat program.

LOL! I used to sleep in class. It was so boring. School in the 60's & 70's was boring. Trust me lol. Welcome to the site. It's fun hanging out on Arlo sites like this.

The Christian Left's Vision (Remember Woody Guthrie?)

Guthrie’s perception of humanity and political ideas were grounded in an agrarian legacy of protest in Oklahoma, where a strong Socialist Party operated before the First World War, along with a Christian tradition that Jesus was the champion of the poor and meek, who would inherit the earth and drive the money changers out of the temple
http://www.hnn.us/articles/13445.html

now this is just an article and the writer may be bending somethings to the way he thinks - but the Woody stuff seems to ring the bells true enough to what I know of Woody / which is a lot less than some in these parts thought some may like the read / or discuss it / Take it easy but take it

Thank you for the welcome. *blushes* Took me a while to find this thread again. It's scary when you think that I lose a forum from one day to the next, //yet// I still vote and drive a car on public roads. And I have driven much, as I learned when I clicked off all the states I've been on this map: http://douweosinga.com/projects/visitedstates
Also on the right is an an interesting Google link that makes Google google Google. That will make sense to you if you look at it, trust me.
