I'm convinced, what seems to be common sense, is more uncommon, than it used to be, Pat..

Just a thought.

Todd, I'll ask you first, since you've done the homework. Do you know who we can complain to? Deluge with email and/or snail mail? Is there a national registry that controls this stuff? If you don't know--I'll start digging into it. No donated organ should go to waste--that's outrageous!

I heard this from another friend just within the past week. It is outrageous, and should be changed. Maybe there's someone "out there" who is already fighting it. I'll check Internet in the a.m.; anyone else who does, please let us know what you find out.

One suggestion -- write to your representatives in congress about it. They figure every letter they actually receive represents at least 100 voters they aren't hearing from, and part of their AA's job description is to look into the issues raised by letters they do get. It may not solve the problem, but it will get Capitol Hill focusing on it -- which can be a good thing.

far be it from me to dissuade a group of crazy hippie chicks from their chosen path of social improvement...but,

calm down,,,a lot of people are actively involved with this situation, and the laws are evolving...maybe you guys could decrease their response time though,,and that would of course be good.

it is what you see in your everyday life that you are most empowered to change..
or in the words of michael martin murphey;

fight for your rights,
but son, don't just fight for right.

please start a thread in top trop for this
subject,,,so that i may use this one as my own to keep my friends updated and connected to me in some way..being in the middle of the fray,,i have no need of links and debate from those not within my line of sight.

on another yet same slant...i would like to explain to those that have read this thread..i'm not comfortabe with the ease that bumper and what i call the new trinity
have embraced me and this site..

i don't know these people from adam and eve,
and their forced familiarity makes me hinky...i question their true intent,,not their character or love.

To me, Todd, the familiarity isn't forced. We all slipped into Dave's digital tent, here, for our own reasons, and, I believe, some of us return frequently, because of a kindredness we feel, with others, here. I see reflections of myself, in you, for good & ill. Am I projecting? maybe, does that explain my anger, at you, when you take a thread too far, according to me??, maybe...
" We talk to ourselves, and, hope others are listening"
I don't wanna say who I 1st heard that from
we've all heard the kinda over-simplistic description of getting to know people, on-line, as being "from inside-out" There's some truth, to that, I think, & it's a good thing..
cool? onward, then....
( you'll make a great Klinger...)

Late again. I hope that Todd is busy getting medical attention as of now and that we'll hear that things are under control soon.

Oh, geez. Can't turn your back on that boy for a minute, can you? Good luck, Todd. Hoping it all turns around for you.
