No school tomorrow and snow forcast for Sunday night again....
Miss Em is out BEING a Snow Angel...I am keeping the soup on the stove ..

Well Kitty, since the litter ain't much used to snow, it's best they know some of the basic rules on dealing with it in NC.

1) Don't eat yellow snow.
2)Sandels are not a good idea.
3)Use a soft wax on your surfboard.
4)Use only golf balls equipped with GPS microchips.
5)Put the top UP on the convertable.
6)Do not even ATTEMPT to drive the convertable.
7)If your house does not have a heating system, at least turn off the air-conditioner.
If you get stuck out in the storm, construct a shelter out of palm leaves. It may not protect you much, but a snow covered palm leaf shelter will make a great picture.<img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/confused.gif" width=15 height=22>

Hey I was not being mean, I love Miss Em and my math says she will be in her 40's the next big snow they get there and then she will be too big for snow angels.....okay, Miss Kitty isn't to big but that's another story, she is like me, still a kid at heart.

What's sad is we have all this snow and Nikki won't go sled riding with me, it's too cold for her, I guess we will have to wait for summer.

Donner's Pass has several feet of snow most of the time so another foot ot two does not seem to matter, I was in Chicago when 3 feet fell one day and it closed the city down completely for about three days, But snow in always by comparison to the norm, a little in places that there normally isn't any will cause more problems then five times as much will in a place where it is common.

here we have about 3 inchs on the flat and 6 inchs on the mountains maybe more where it has drifted, it's the windchill that is really bad 1 degree right now.

We ARE having the comparable weather ... SC-NC has our normal (Michigan) snow and rather cold ... we've got Sparky's -10 to -20 windchill (was 0 degrees again this morning). It's TOOOOOOOO COOOOOOLLLLLLLDDDDDDD to have any fun outside at all! (Also too gray, too cloudy, too just plain Michigan.) :blah

It's so cold in Florida that Jeb Bush has lifted all weight limited for trucks in the state, he wants to save the crops by quickly harvesting them and sending them to market,,,,pity the poor truck driver when he crosses the Georgia state line and gets a 1,000 fine and told to park the truck,,,don't these people ever think?

Well, it does sound like his intentions were good..but it's a Bush, you know? Maybe there's some kind of arrangement between the states about it? Or maybe there could be?
